Dolo in Fiore (Dolo in Bloom) is the classic 1 May event organised in the Isola Bassa area, one of the most characteristic areas of Dolo.
It is a market exhibition of the vegetable and garden; flowers, plants, gardening and vegetable-growing articles are on display. In addition to flowers, there is also an organic market exhibition with a display of various products selected for health protection.
Buildings of ancient memory such as the Squero Monumentale, the Mulini Demaniali and the invaded area offer an evocative and unique setting that, on the occasion of the 1 May festival, becomes a precious treasure chest, rich in scents and plants that colour the historic centre of Dolo.
The traditional Flower Festival is an invitation to those with a green thumb to shop for decorative plants and flowers and to experience the atmosphere of the place with the many gastronomic proposals of the local restaurants, themed exhibitions and the Voga alla Veneta rowing raid.
