The 4 Seasons of Taste

 

Four seasons, which offered the products of the earth. Local restaurants narrated these foods, following traditional recipes or offering us their own reinterpretations.

58 events, during which it was possible to meet around a table, and enjoy the dishes proposed by each restaurateur. This was the gastronomic review "The 4 Seasons of Taste" that involved several restaurants, between the Miranese area and the Riviera del Brenta, which opened their doors delighting us with their workhorses or with unique menus designed specifically for the occasion.

In 4 separate periods - between January 2022 and November 2023 - there were 58 events, during which the restaurants involved (activated either discretionally or in all 4 seasons, or by selecting those of preference) created events dedicated to a particular product, with preference given to those with zero-mileage, dop, doc, and igp. These products were offered in a traditional or revised key, according to the inspiration and skill of the chefs, who often enriched the evenings with additional elements of attraction or animation: meetings with wineries or producers, presentations of books on the subject of food, performances by artists, who devised pieces especially for the occasion, and much more.

Scanning this journey of the senses were, indeed, the four seasons, which dictated the timing of this review, providing the products used to create the dishes served.

The project "The Four Seasons of Taste" aimed to foster and strengthen the knowledge of the territory "Riviera del Brenta - Terra dei Tiepolo" and its riches, through the activation of promotional actions that would enhance the excellence of local food and wine, both from the point of view of production and processing, emphasizing how the restaurant sector knows how to preserve, care for and tell the historical-cultural dimension that underlies our culinary tradition as well.
