Villa Gasparini

Dolo (VE)

This is a villa of modest artistic importance, which echoes in a purely formal manner the building type of the Venetian villa. It appears that the Gasparini family were the first owners of the property as early as 1686, but the architectural forms that have come down to us seem to date the building to the 18th century. The family in question was not of noble lineage, but had a fair amount of ascendancy as gastaldi of the important Da Mosto family.

Probably also because of this position of the Gasparini, secondary to the economic and cultural scene of other families who resided on the Riviera, the villa is presented with simple and codified forms. The facade presents the usual tripartition, which mirrors the interior distribution layout with the passing hall on the main floor. The openings have no cornices, and the only decorative element is the triangular molded gable, within which appears a noble coat of arms made of stone. A small enclosed garden opens at the rear of the building.

Hotel Villa Gasparini is located in Dolo, near Venice, in the heart of the Brenta Riviera. The historic building has been completely renovated and houses inside 15 rooms finished and furnished following 6 different themes, from classic Venetian to modern. Villa Gasparini offers its guests delicious wine and food tastings, romantic candlelight dinners and other numerous opportunities to transform a stay into a collection of many precious moments of exclusivity, well-being and culture.
