Villa Goetzen

Dolo (VE)

The Villa Goetzen complex is located in the center of Dolo, near the reunion of the two branches of the Brenta Canal. The 18th-century building was originally owned by the Venier, a noble Venetian family, and was also depicted by Costa in one of his engravings. Compared to the one depicted in the engravings, the palace underwent alterations probably made in the mid-18th century.

It is an eighteenth-century Venetian villa, home of the former Venier Casino.

The building has been completely renovated and transformed by the Minchio Family into a refined 3-star hotel and elegant restaurant where the traditional seafood cuisine of the Riviera del Brenta meets creativity and innovation. The result is dishes that are as beautiful to the eye as they are exceptional to the palate. The atmosphere is cozy, intimate and elegant at the same time, both in the indoor rooms and in the outdoor spaces, such as the garden and the pier overlooking the Brenta.
